How to Get Your Ex-girlfriend Back - Get Your Ex-girlfriend Back When She is Seeing Another Guy?

Saturday, October 17, 2009

Author: Jc Coll

If you want to get your ex-girlfriend back when she is seeing another guy, lashing out in jealousy or anger is not going to work. At the same time, sitting back passively and crying in your pillow every night is not going to work either. Of course, dating some other girl and flaunting her in front of your ex-girlfriend has proven to not work in most cases. So what is left to get your ex-girlfriend back when she is seeing another guy? Is it even possible? For most people it will be possible, but you first need to analyze whether you actually want to get your ex-girlfriend back. When she is seeing another guy, it is easy to simply want her because it appears you can't have her. When you are dealing with another person's emotions you must first determine your motivations for wanting to get your ex-girlfriend back when she is seeing another guy. If you didn't want her back the week before you found out about the new guy, then it is likely you are feeling territorial, not that you really want her for yourself. It is unfair to move further if this is the case. If you determine your motivations are genuine love then it is time to consider your chances to get your ex-girlfriend back. When she is seeing another guy you must next determine how serious she is about him. If she is just casually dating and he is one of many then your chances are better than if she has been seeing him for awhile and you just found out about it. The longer she has been seeing the new guy the less chance you may have to get your ex-girlfriend back. When she is seeing another guy you can talk with her friends and family members in a casual manner to determine if she talks about you at all. It can be hard to hear that you have been forgotten, but finding out if you are still on her mind can help determine your chances of getting her back. The more recent the break up the higher chances she is not seriously connected and you are still in her mind to some extent. If a lot of time has passed you need to start by reintroducing yourself into her life in a casual manner, then analyze your chances.

How Do I Get My Girlfriend Back - Get Your Ex Girlfriend Back As If by Magic

Author: Elaine Currie

If your girlfriend has broken up with you and you want to get her back the question "how do I get my girlfriend back"? is probably the only thing on your mind.

Your best chance of getting your ex back is by doing the following:

Stop reliving the breakup

The first thing to avoid is the temptation to over-analyze the situation. It would be a pointless waste of valuable time and energy to keep replaying the circumstances of the breakup with your girlfriend and asking yourself if there was anything you could have done to prevent it.

Even if there was something you could have done differently (or even should have done differently) before the relationship foundered, it won't change anything; your girlfriend has broken up with you, now you need to look to the future.

Keep calm

When your ex breaks up with you and you still love her, it is natural to worry in case she meets somebody else. She is now your ex girlfriend, so there is nothing to prevent her finding a new boyfriend, but you still think of her as "my girlfriend" and you want her to be with you and nobody else.

Your girlfriend will have been upset by the break up; it is a highly emotional event even if she instigated the break. She won't be ready to get into another relationship right away any more than you would. Stay calm and resist any temptation to contact her and beg her to take you back. Putting pressure on her at this time will only serve to make her pull further away.

Give her time

This is hard, but it is a vital part of the strategy involved in solving the problem of what you can do to get your girlfriend back. Instead of moping around the house asking yourself "what can I do to get my girl back", go out with friends and do your best to have some fun. Having fun obviously won't be easy at first but it is important to keep yourself occupied.

The big thing to avoid is giving in to the temptation to hang around where you know you are likely to "accidentally" meet up with your ex girlfriend. You need to give her space to miss you; let her wonder where you are and what you are doing. If she regrets breaking up with you, she will start worrying in case you start going out with another girl.

When you and your girlfriend have had a few weeks to calm down and think things through, is the time to make contact. It could be that she regrets the break up as much as you do, and she will make the first move. Keep the initial contact casual and let her know you want to be friends. Don't to try to rush the process of getting back with your ex girlfriend, exerting emotional pressure is not the way to win your girl back.

Author: John R. Roberts

Going through a breakup is a very difficult thing. At times, surviving a breakup might seem like the toughest thing in the world, but believe it or not, you can and will survive it. Of course you feel emptiness inside, which makes moving forward and getting back with your life even harder. All you really want to do is lie in bed and hide under the covers. But you need to look around and realize that most people have gone through a hard breakup and they have survived, just like you will. Before you know it you will be getting back to enjoying your life.

When it comes to coping with a breakup and the pain that goes along with it, you can't keep your feelings inside. Spend time with a close friend you can confide in and share a good cry and tell them how you are feeling. If nothing else get a pen and paper and write your feelings down. You could even get a special journal and write all your feelings down and after you have gotten it all out, you can burn the journal, in a symbolic moving on ceremony. Whatever you do, you have to try to get the pain out, don't keep it bottled up.

As you start feeling your old self returning, you can begin to look at your relationship to understand what was good about it and what was bad. By understanding what happened in the relationship it will allow you to make the best decisions regarding your next move. If things were good for the most part and you enjoyed being together, there might be a chance to get back together. But if you were having serious problems, there's a good chance that you two are done.

Now that you've taken the time to know what happened in your relationship, it is time to decide if you will try to get back together or if you will throw in the towel and move on from this relationship. If you realistically think there is something still there and you want to get back together, there are important steps and techniques you need to follow to make it work. Many of these are based on the differing psychologies between men and women have.

If on the other hand you have decided to move on, you and your partner need to separate your lives. In a relationship, especially a long term one, it can be surprising how much your lives have become intertwined and splitting them up is not always an easy thing. You need to make this change, you don't want any landmines left over that can emotionally destroy you.

Dealing with a breakup is really tough but it definitely can be done. Use your friends and family as a support system to help you get through this tough time. People have compared breakups to having a death in the family, so obviously it is tough to deal with. Some of this is just too emotional to tackle all by yourself.

How A Rebound Relationship Can Work For You

Author: Joe Bisley

Are you sure that your new partner is really in love with you? You have to think out how a rebound relationship can work for you when they have not fully got over their last relationship. Some people use a rebound relationship to get themselves over the suffering they feel from their previous love affair. When they ended the previous affair, your chances of making your new relationship work are greatly improved. Your new partner had probably been thinking about ending their old relationship some time before plucking up the courage to actually do it. In this case, they will likely have got over the suffering from this break up and are seeking to move on. You should not assume the same thing when your new partner has just been dropped. There are people who are unable to live alone and who go from person to person because they don’t want to or unable to arrange the matters that caused their recent split. They get themselves emotionally involved very quickly again because they have to feel that they have someone who loves them. Rebound relationship like this are nearly always rather short lived; as their new partner you find it more and more difficult to be with someone who appears to be so needy and desperate. People who move into rebound relationships are not conscious of how they are behaving. All they think about is their own emotional suffering and any comfort and help they can get along the way solves their immediate problem. They find someone free who listens to them and this is all they want as they are not yet ready to love someone else. If you become their next partner you will get a rude awakening when you wake up to the reality that you are not loved. You suddenly realize that you are only being used as a stepping stone, while they recover and move on to their next adventure; for you this can be very demoralizing and painful to accept. So you must be very wary when you meet up with someone who has just been dropped by their ex. Make sure that their feelings for you are sincere before you get emotionally involved with them. Remember that people need time to get over a relationship. Just as when you suffer the death of a close friend family member, you must take the time necessary for the suffering to heal if you are to come out of it a stronger person in the end. Breaking off a relationship is usually the end of a dream and you are suffering because it did not have an “Alice in Wonderland” ending. It is important, when you meet up with someone who you think has found you on their rebound, to encourage them to date others and spend some time alone getting their own emotional template sorted out. Maintain contact as in the future you may wish to draw them into a long term relationship. When the two of you are meant for each other, it will likely happen, if not immediately. Doing things this way, you can make sure how a rebound relationship can work for you. Joe Bisley For further information click here http://magic-of-making-up-joebisley.blogspot.com
